Hello 1H families!
My name is Liz Hebert and I am teaching first grade at Tri-Valley Elementary School. In case you were wondering, my last name is pronounced "AYE - Bear". It's French and very confusing! :) I grew up in Bloomington, IL and attended district 87 schools before attending Illinois State University. My parents both work at State Farm and live in Bloomington as well. I have two brothers. My older brother just got a job at State Farm in Arizona, and my younger brother is a junior at the University of Illinois. Last July, I adopted a dog named Peanut, and he is a great addition to my family! I graduated in May 2016 from Illinois State with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. I also have endorsements in math, science, social science, and language arts. I completed a yearlong student teaching experience in a 3rd grade classroom at Prairieland Elementary School in Normal. I also worked at Thomas Metcalf School for 3 years during my time at ISU. This will be my second year at TVES in first grade. I am SO excited to be working at Tri-Valley and am looking forward to a wonderful year with the students! Please do not hesitate to contact me if you ever have any questions or concerns. I am also very open to scheduling appointments to meet if there is ever a concern. I am here to make this school year as successful and fun for the students as possible! I can't wait to see how much the students learn and grow this year in first grade. Contact Information: E-mail: [email protected] School Phone Number: (309) 378-2031 |
